Was told androids will work. Now they said it doesn't once I have it.....

Very pleased with the Service and quality Products that sync seamlessly with my iPhone.

I've been using the KeySmart organizer for years now. Originally had the Tile version and so happy they eventually released one compatible with Apple Find My so I don't need to keep an extra keychain attached for an AirTag. Even more happy now that they released a newer version with a USB-C charger vs the old Micro USB charger since everything I have now uses USB-C and I only even keep a Micro USB cable around to charge my previous organizer. FYI - definitely work it to get the extension screws for keeping more keys and in my case I didn't need it for more keys but to keep multiple RFID key fobs.

Bought two of the Keysmart Pro with added tool feature for me and my wife back in August of 2024. They were great for the five months they worked, but my unit recently stopped working. It was showing as low/no battery on my iPhone and when I deleted it to re-link it, it’s not working any more. Still works great as a key organizer, just hope it never falls out of my pocket, LoL!

Work as advertised

I’ve been a Keysmart Pro user for awhile now but wasn’t too fond of the Tile app constantly running in the background so when I heard about the Keysmart iPro, I immediately pre-ordered after seeing it works with Apple’s “Find My” app.

Going over the pros, it truly does work flawlessly with Apple’s “Find My” app with a quick and easy set up. It’s really accurate and integrates perfectly to the Apple ecosystem. The speaker also seems to be louder than the previous tile version (I don’t believe we can change the tones on this version vs the previous Tile version) and now we can also check the battery on it using the “Find My” app on Apple devices. The “Find My” button in its circular shape is a little easier to press now vs the previous tile version.

The biggest con in my opinion is the fact that they haven’t upgraded the charging port to USB-C or even lightning. Micro-USB charging feels a bit ancient at this point and granted the battery life does state it’ll last 30 days, it’s just another wire you have to keep for charging especially for iPhone users. The build material on this version seems to have gotten worse than the previous version. This one feels even more plastic-like and more bendable/breakable vs the previous version which had a nicer feel to it. It’s not a huge deal as it still feels plenty sturdy once you have your keys in however just doesn’t feel as nice in the hands as the previous version.

Overall this is a great product for iPhone users and is part of my daily EDC but I am a little disappointed based on the potential of what this product could’ve been.

Here’s hoping for a black Keysmart iPro Max version with a bigger battery and USB-C charging.

I'm replacing my KeySmart Air (which uses an Apple AirTag) with the KeySmart iPro. Configuration was simple and straight forward with my iPhone 12. While the iPro is plastic (versus the metal of the original Keysmart or 'SmartShield leather' of the KeySmart Air) once the keys are inserted it feels very durable. When assembled correctly the key posts are flush to the plastic housing. The built in flashlight is not bright, but it is sufficient for seeing where to insert the key in a lock or to read something. While the bottle opener is potentially useful, you can't put a keyring through its eyelet as it will prevent you from fully opening the bottle opener. Overall, I am very pleased with it as it is much more streamlined than my current KeySmart Air.

I wanted to love this, but ultimately it is not for me and will be returning it.

I realized this product would have to be bigger than the KeySmart Classic I have been using, but it is much bigger than expected, even bigger than the KeySmart Original. At the time of writing this review, the dimensions are not available on the product page. You might think you could look at the KeySmart Pro with Tile page to get the dimensions, but the measurements there are completely wrong (0.64mm deep for example???).

Here are measurements I took:
length: 93.67mm
length, with bottle opener hook: 99.43mm
width: 19.45mm
depth with 2 sets of keys: 14.15mm
weight, with no bottle opener and no keys: 18g
weight, with bottle opener and no keys: 25g

Pros:
-Holds keys.
-Easy setup with Find My.

Cons:
-Both front and backplate are plastic. I realize at least some plastic is need for the antenna, but it feels cheap and does not inspire confidence.
-Screw posts stick out the other side of the backplate when configured with 2 sets of keys.
-One handed operation is nearly impossible. Keys can be completely covered by the plates.
-Flashlight button is hard to find in the dark, you can hardly feel it.
-Double clicking the flashlight button turns on the flashlight for 10 seconds, but there is no way to turn it off in that time, you must wait.
-Sloppy Find My implementation: model name has a typo (ipro vs iPro) and the serial number is not displayed.
-Speaker does not seem as loud as an AirTag speaker.
-Micro USB in 2022 is disappointing. USB-C is preferred.
-Does not have the Precision Finding feature that AirTags have that let you scan the room for the item (Although to my knowledge, all 3rd party Find My devices don't have access to this feature, but it is important to call out).

It doesn't keep a charge and won't stay linked up to Bluetooth.

SmartKey works exactly as described. Key capacity may be exaggerated; or maybe it exceeds my comfort level. Either way, i am quite happy with the iPro KeySmart I ordered.

I loved my first keysmart I bought years ago and I was finally forced to replace it. Sadly the new ones do not come with extenders if you have more than a few keys. I’d fact I couldn’t even find anything about the extenders. Good thing I still had the parts from my old one. Also, there could be a tool or a way to install
That many keys without constantly dropping them or losing a washer mid-installation. So frustrating to be putting your keys in and have them slipping out while you’re trying to put it together. I finally got my keys in, and sadly they don’t feel the same as they used to in the older version. They feel loose, not to mention the extra items they sell you on (multi-tool key and carabiner rings DONT FIT IN OR ON THE KEYSMART! Very frustrating to find that out mid installation. The “find my” feature works great, holds your keys after multiple attempts to put it together, feels loose, and doesn’t come with all the parts you’ll need. Great if you have like 6 keys, not so great for 8 or more (I have 10). I feel like they could do better but have stopped trying to improve the product. I may go with another product when this one gives out.

I need to return it. It’s too hard to push my keys out and actually use it. I’ll be returning it.

Not good I have not used it because I do not know how to put keys on it or operate it, I reached out to you and got no help, not happy

I love KeySmart products. I have the classic keychain. I would buy the iPro today if it worked with Android, I do not have Apple products. Please add Android soon. Thank you.

Finally, a color that stands out and the imprivements from v1 are excellent. I wish i could get a longer screw to put a few more keys on but this is my new favorite. I bought some for other family members

I love Keysmart gear, so when I saw they integrated Find My tracking into a key holder I jumped on the pro. original design. That was a couple of years ago. I expected some wear and tear. I didn't expect the case to crack after a year or the back plate to snap in half. I had to cobble the plat off of my rugged to keep it together. I still love the products and will be replacing my Pro soon. It will just be with one of the standard airtag options.
