What is CleanKey made of?

CleanKey is manufactured with solid brass, which is made of (at least 62%) Copper and Zinc.  

What are the dimensions of CleanKey?

3.63in long x 6mm thick x 1.35in wide

What is the best way to clean CleanKey?

You can clean CleanKey with steel wool, a soft cloth or a disinfectant wipe. You find other ways to clean copper here.

Will CleanKey patina over time?

Yes, CleanKey is made of solid brass so it will darken over time. 

Is CleanKey TSA-friendly?

Yes, TSA generally allows hand tools to be permitted in carry-on bags.

Does CleanKey work for round doorknobs?

No, but it can help you push, pull or turn a door lever. Most round doorknobs are found in homes. CleanKey was designed to help open public doors which are primarily have push, pull or turn functions.

Does CleanKey work at gas stations?

CleanKey can help you use touchscreens and push buttons at gas stations but it does not help you hold the nozzle or squeeze the pump trigger to dispense gasoline into your vehicle. 

Can CleanKey be engraved?

Does CleanKey include a bottle opener?

No, the current version does not include a bottle opener.

Why isn't my CleanKey working on touchscreens? 

A common mistake is to try to use the tip of the CleanKey on touchscreens. In order to properly use a touchscreen with CleanKey, you must make contact with the full flat surface edge of the CleanKey. See example below:
