Getting Started
Before you put your KeySmart SmartCard Lite in your wallet, let’s get it connected to the Apple Find My app.
- Long press and release the Find My button to turn on your KeySmart SmartCard lite.
- Open the Apple Find My app on your iOS device, tap the “+” and select “Add Other Item” from the menu.
- KeySmart SmartCard Lite will appear on screen. Tap to connect and then set a custom name and icon for your card.
Follow These Tips For The Best Finding Experience
- Use the SmartCard Lite with a leather or fabric wallet and place in the outermost pocket.
- Share your SmartCard Lite with family inside of the Apple Find My app so they can help you find your wallet.

Features of the Apple Find My app
KeySmart SmartCard Lite works exclusively with the Apple Find My network. The Apple Find My network provides an easy, secure way to locate compatible personal items on a map using the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac. Simply pair your compatible product with the Apple Find My app to view it right alongside your Apple devices. If your item ever goes missing, you can put it in Lost Mode to display a message and contact information to anyone who might find it. The Find My network is encrypted and anonymous, so no one else, not even Apple or the maker of your personal item, can view its location.
How To Perform A Factory Reset
If you're having issues connecting to your SmartCard Lite or would like to pair it to a new account, follow the steps below.
- Open the Apple Find My App, tap the Items tab, and select your SmartCard Lite.
- Tap Remove Item and follow the onscreen instructions.
- On the SmartCard Lite, double press the power button. The SmartCard Lite will beep.
- Long press the button for 8 seconds until the SmartCard Lite plays a tune.
- Once the SmartCard Lite is finished playing the tune, it has complete the factory reset. The SmartCard Lite is now in pairing mode and can be paired to a new device.
